A new autobiography by country music legend Loretta Lynn – titled Honky Tonk Girl: My Life In Lyrics – will be available from 3 April 2012.

It uses her own lyrics to tell the 77-year-old singer’s rags-to-riches story, including the real-life events that inspired classic songs such as ‘Coal Miner’s Daughter’, ‘Don’t Come Home A’ Drinkin’, and ‘I’m a Honky Tonk Girl’.

The book includes a collection of highly personal stories – told in her own words – that provide a deep insight into her life, her influences, and her 50-year career.
